Bangalore – Mysore – Ooty – Coonoor

A full day on the train, passing through Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, and Nellore, making new friends along the way.

Arriving in Bangalore at 6:45 AM, we will check into the hotel, freshen up, and have breakfast. The city tour will include ISKCON Temple, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, and Tipu Sultan’s Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bangalore.

After breakfast, we will head to the historical city of Mysore (145 km away), stopping at Srirangapatna along the way. After reaching Mysore and having lunch, we will visit Brindavan Gardens and enjoy the illuminated Mysore Palace. Overnight stay at a Mysore hotel.

After breakfast, we will visit Chamundeshwari Temple, Mysore Palace, and St. Philomena's Church. Later, passing through the Bandipur and Mudumalai National Parks and scenic tea gardens, we will reach the beautiful hill town of Ooty in the Nilgiri Mountains. Evening free for exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Ooty.

After breakfast, we will explore Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, and a famous shooting spot. Overnight stay in Ooty.

After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and load our luggage into the bus. Then, we will board the heritage toy train to Coonoor, an unforgettable 1 hour 10 minutes journey through breathtaking landscapes. Meanwhile, our bus will arrive at Coonoor Station with our luggage. After reaching Coonoor, we will explore a tea garden, then travel to Adiyogi Ashram in Coimbatore. Later, we will reach Coimbatore Railway Station to board the 22640 Chennai Superfast Express at 9:35 PM towards Chennai.

Arriving at Chennai station at 5:15 AM, we will board the Madras Santragachi AC Express at 8:10 AM towards home.

Arriving at Santragachi at 10:25 AM, we bid farewell with a heart full of wonderful memories and cameras filled with amazing pictures.
